Archived Live Songs Posted!
Have you ever wanted to hear what John sounded like when he was 19? Or hear a live recording featuring Colorado’s own fiddler-extraordinaire Katie Glassman? A six-song set of archived live and demo recordings has been posted to the John Statz Soundcloud page, and the highlight is John’s first ever public appearance way back in 2004 (at age 19!) on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Higher Ground” show. Other recordings come from the Walnut Room in Denver (2011 and 2012), the Bremen Cafe in Milwaukee (2006) and a demo of an earlier version of “Distance”. Enjoy!
Oh yea, and check out this photo taken by a fan at July’s show at The Brick in Kansas City, Missouri. Yaniv Salzberg is playing the upright bass in the photo, and also does on the Soundcloud version of “The Wichita Waltz”.
Stay tuned for a full Europe Tour announcement, some dates can already be found at the calendar page.
